The great Bob Dylan once sang that “Key West is the place to be if you’re looking for immortality”. This seems like the perfect way to describe the beautiful historic district where this gorgeous old home sits – immortal and frozen in time. This beautiful converted apartment sits within a stunning wooden period building in the heart of the oldest area of the Florida Keys, that brims with history. Ernest Hemingway had his home on the same block and President Truman located his Winter White house just a short walk away. Inside the home, the spacious living room is ideal for relaxing away from the high heat of the day, cooled off by the air conditioning. At the end of the day, take a refreshing shower in the bathroom before getting a good night’s rest in the large and comfortable bed. Outside, in the lush and balmy Floridian sunshine, sit in one of the wooden chairs on the terrace and read a good book (a Hemingway classic?) or take in the calming ambience with a cocktail in hand or from the secluded swimming pool. Whether you are in Key West for the food, the culture, the history or the sunshine,... this historic home is the place to enjoy it from.
