Ski breaks come in many forms; in this case, ‘alpine-chic’ is taken to the next level. And the location is super-convenient too – we’re talking a 10-minute stroll to the ski shuttle, and 5 minutes to the shops and restaurants of Main Street. Delving into the detail, the house is perched on a hillside and has been carefully designed so surrounding trees and epic views can be marvelled at from inside. Or from the large outdoor hot tub, glass of wine in hand. In the summer, gather on the outdoor terrace and swap stories under the stars. Inside is a pleasing balance of cosy, homely charm (soothing wood floors and sink-in sofas) beneath gloriously high ceilings. The kitchen comes well-stocked for a gang of sixteen. Beds are hotel-level comfy, and there are plenty of bathrooms to go around. We foresee gatherings around the crackling fireplace after a day on the slopes or barbeques on the terrace while a guitar is strummed – the sort of stuff that memories are made of.
