If London’s Olympic Village has a downside, it’d be that there’s too much to do. There’s Westfield – Europe’s largest shopping centre, the iconic Velodrome, umpteen dining options and walking trails all within a five-minute saunter of your new East End abode. And you’re well-connected with Kings Cross St Pancras station only a six-minute train ride away. Fortunately, your fresh and modern home offers some calm among the chaos. Downstairs, the interiors are understated in a neutral colour scheme, where white-washed walls offset the trendy furniture, and double-height ceilings add a bright and breezy openness to the home. Upstairs, feature walls add some pizazz to the bedrooms – we particularly love the dramatic black and gold print in the second bedroom. We can picture your days starting with an unhurried coffee in the garden and ending, after a whirlwind day in the city, with a glass of wine on the balcony before tumbling into the plush king-size bed, fast asleep as soon as your head hits the pillow.
