Steeped in tradition and charm, Alfama is the historic heart of Lisbon, known for its winding cobbled lanes and village-like atmosphere. It's where you'll find this quaint apartment tucked away on a quiet street mere minutes from São Jorge Castle. Bright and stylish with Swedish influence, the best part here is the view from the kitchen. As you sip your morning coffee, relish the stunning scenes across terracotta rooftops towards the glittering Tagus River in the distance. We also adore the small sunny patio – whether you're taking an afternoon siesta on the lounge chairs or drinking cocktails in the evening, it's a peaceful spot to relish in the gorgeous Portuguese weather. When you're not relaxing at home, you'll love exploring the local area. Check out the panoramas from Miradouro das Portas do Sol (a seven-minute stroll), tuck into a traditional Portuguese dish at one of the local restaurants or take a ten-minute walk down to Lisbon Cathedral. And when your feet are tired (and they will be with all the hills), there's a bus stop two minutes away to whisk you towards the city centre.

About Graça
Graça is the highest point of Lisbon's seven hills, sitting just above the beautiful Alfama. You’ll find some of the best views of the city in this neighbourhood. Wind your way slowly up and down the cobbled streets, pausing at viewpoints to take in the pastel-painted walls of Alfama. The downside to the incredible views is the steepness of Graça – we advise taking it steady and calling in to local bars and restaurants for regular energy-boosts. As the sun sets over Lisbon, you’ll find your efforts in finding the perfect terrace worthwhile.
