In Haut Marais, just a five-minute walk from the République metro station, this studio-style apartment feels like a creative hideaway in the city. This cosy, understated flat is a delightful contrast to unique buildings like the Centre Pompidou, fifteen minutes away. Step on to the parquet flooring and take a look around. While modern decor works alongside mid-century dining chairs, you’ll notice more quirky touches too. We love the cow skull wall sculptures, bringing a badlands feel to this otherwise simple decor. And the striking low-hanging lighting fixture, in a black woven lampshade, casts a certain dominant shadow over the marble dining table. In your local neighbourhood, Le Marais, you’ll get a real feel for the Parisian boho vibe. Think colourful boutiques, cobbled lanes, and classic cafés. Spend an evening here hopping around various cocktail bars, maybe even try a little bit of ‘la fée verte’, just like the artists and writers of old. Just ten minutes away, you can head to the basin of the Canal Saint-Martin. This is one of Paris’ hippest areas, where you’ll find young creatives making the most of canalside relaxing, drinking, and dining.
