Now this is how you do a Palm Desert holiday. At this classic 50s style villa, we have to start with the garden. In its centre, a saltwater pool and spa, flanked by comfy loungers and overlooked by swaying palms. There’s a pond with koi carp silently gliding under its glassy surface and, if that wasn’t relaxing enough, a canopied daybed – pull the billowing curtains together for an afternoon snooze in the sun.
