The ornate, decorative, and unique architecture of Barcelona makes the city come alive. While strolling its winding streets, you'll notice how traditional Catalan facades meet modern sensibilities, alongside Gaudí marvels. Just a twenty-minute walk from Casa Batlló, this apartment offers a calming and understated space, giving pride of place to all the splendour of the array of buildings. As you enter, pass through a huge lobby with high ceilings and marble floors, plus wall mouldings, cornices and artworks on its grand pillars. But when you get inside, calming white walls and the heavy use of pine in this flat makes you feel warm and grounded. We love the unique layout of the living space, where you can lounge next to a huge window on the sofa, then slide the wooden, stable-style doors to separate it from the dining space. Perfect for a cosy night in. Then in the bedroom, you can perch on the balcony as you wake up with your morning espresso. While the home is minimalist and relaxed overall, your host's extra offerings are quite the opposite. Private airport pick-up and a private chef are among the VIP services available.
