Like the white sands and shells of Higgs Beach, just over a five-minute walk away, the white wooden exterior of this Conch House immediately catches your eye. In the Casa Marina district of the Old Town, a classy residential area, this traditional Floridian villa oozes original charm with a modern edge. Entering the living space, natural, sandy hues offer peace and calm as you tour the home. The master bedroom has a very apt nautical theme with aqua-blue walls, sailor-blue sheets, and hardwood furnishings that wouldn't feel out of place in a captain's cabin. Each bedroom has its own en-suite, which brings a luxury spa-like feel to your stay. Heading down the modern staircase, with suspended wire handrails, your next stop is definitely the back garden. Tangerine-coloured sun loungers and dining chairs bring energy to this quiet space. With a pool and mini waterfall, surrounded by lush palm trees and exotic foliage, it feels like a sanctuary escape. You could of course mix up the margaritas at home to sit out on the porch or by the pool, but Duval Street is less than a ten-minute walk. This lively stretch offers drinking, dining, and live music just a few blocks from your relaxing retreat.
