This Shepherd’s Bush home is for those that want an easy journey into the city, but a quiet patch to retreat to at the end of the day. Uxbridge Road is just a three-minute walk away, packed with shops and restaurants. Follow Uxbridge Road for fifteen minutes to reach Shepherd’s Bush Market to shop for fresh produce, and catch the tube into central London in less than fifteen minutes. The home itself is a classic-style townhouse with big bay windows in the living room and master bedroom. Book-filled shelves line the walls and an eclectic array of rainbow tapestries liven up the otherwise white space – we love the hand-woven carpet on the staircase. A big, dine-in kitchen is brightened by a slanting wall of skylights, and French doors lead to a walled patio, filled with greenery. Antique furniture and curios from across the globe are scattered throughout, so there’s something quirky to admire in every room.
