Stepping into this La Quinta home feels like stepping into a Moorish palace. Wrought-iron flourishes, bright white walls and pops of terracotta orange combine to create that old Moroccan feel inside. The living room feels homely with its collection of boardgames and books, and squashy leather sofas. While the kitchen is blissfully sleek with loads of counter space for meal prep. Should work beckon, a separate office room provides a classy spot for remote working. Guests have access to the resort’s clubhouse where a swimming pool in the shape of a Moroccan plunge pool awaits, and a sunken circular hot tub can soothe aching muscles. The grounds are also home to bocce ball courts, tennis courts, a gym and ping pong tables. If you prefer to soak up the sun in private, the home’s own terrace has a gas grill and outdoor dining, plus a couple of loungers.
