Stepping into this sunny Palm Springs home, you can tell you’re in the Design District. Bolshy pop art vies for your attention amidst cacti and that classic soft-pink and fern-green wallpaper. The mid-century allure of Palm Springs is fully embraced with dusky-pink velvet armchairs, a teal sofa and mustard-yellow velvet dining chairs, plus gold trim adding a bit of sparkle. Bedrooms all come with glass sliding doors out onto the pool terrace, and it’s the outdoors where this home really shines. A square Jacuzzi tub crowns the swimming pool and a line of loungers on the manicured lawn look like their ready for Hollywood starlets in big sunglasses. The outdoor kitchen and bar area has a built-in grill for dining under the desert sky and a bocce ball court means you can indulge in the past-times of yesteryear, all with a glorious view of the mountains beyond. Palm Canyon Drive is a three-minute drive or twenty-minute walk away, where an endless array of shops, cafés and restaurants await.
