We love the luxurious feel of this apartment, located right in the beating heart of Paris. Housed in a historical building dating back to 1885, the apartment was the Parisian residence of a French aristocratic family until the early 20th century. Some of its original features remain, whilst the modern crittall-esque windows, which cleverly zone the bedrooms, are firmly set in the 21st century. By night, you can draw the curtains on the space to create a cosy boudoir feel, then fling them open by day to let the light flood in. And the location of this home is quite something. The capital’s most iconic attraction, the Lourve, is just a few minutes away. After a morning at the museum, grab a coffee and take a stroll along the Seine River, before making a beeline for the nearby Le Marais district. Paris’ answer to London’s Soho, you’ll find medieval cobbled streets, independent boutiques, and artisan cafes awaiting. Pitch up for lunch somewhere sunny and get people watching.

It’s frequently overlooked by tourists but it’s definitely a prime location in the heart of Paris.
This area feels like a village where true Parisians live, but despite that it’s walking distance to Le Marais, Centre Pompidou and Le Louvre.
Parisians particularly like the area for one of its main streets, the rue Montorgueil. Greengrocers,...
