A gorgeous flat housed on the top two floors of a Victorian villa overlooking Highbury Fields. The first thing that greets your eyes on entry is the expansive sitting room/kitchen with stunning views over the park courtesy of the east-facing windows, which ensures the space is flooded with magical morning light just in time for breakfast. The modern kitchen cleverly hides all the usual appliances behind minimalist doors, and there's plenty of worktop space for prepping your culinary creations. Thankfully the dining table has more than enough seats for all the home's inhabitants, and there's a breakfast bar for casual meals. The two double bedrooms on this floor are decorated in a monochromatic palette of white and grey, while the third, single room, has been set up with a child in mind. The top floor study is illuminated from every angle and enjoys access to not one but two rooftop terrace areas, which are an idyllic spot to end the day with a sundowner as London life hums along around you. If you're in search of one of London's fabled villages, then you're in luck. The charming Highbury Barn is less than a ten-minute stroll away and is home to an award-winning butcher, fromagerie, fishmonger, bottle shop and a pub. And if you fancy catching a game while you're in town, the family-friendly atmosphere of Arsenal's Emirates Stadium is around a ten-minute walk. Exploring the rest of the capital couldn't be easier thanks to your proximity to Highbury & Islington tube station, which can transport you to Kings Cross in five minutes and to Central in under ten minutes.

About Islington

Tree-lined terraces of very enviable Georgian townhouses, amazing restaurants, coffeeshops, and gastropubs, it's not hard to see why Islington is so popular with affluent media types. It's very well connected (ten minutes on the Victoria Line to Oxford Circus) and it's got a wonderfully residential feel - almost totally tourist free for some strange reason. Have a roast lunch at the Drapers Arms on a weekend and you'll quickly realise what makes Islington living so sought-after.
