It’s hard to think of a more Parisian apartment than this one. Herringbone floors, antique mirrors, French windows and cornicing like icing on a wedding cake combine to create that 19th-century France feeling. The living room features a beautiful marble fireplace, and it’s easy to picture Balzac and Dumas swapping stories over cigars in the white wood-panelled dining room. Bedrooms are just as opulent, with gilded mirrors, gold trim and French windows that let you wake up with the sun. The only exception to the classic Parisian decor is the kitchen, which is all modern convenience, just as it should be. In keeping with the apartment’s lavish design, the luxury shops of the Champs Elysée are just a three-minute stroll away, putting you right in the heart of Paris.
