The Royal Mile is probably the most famous street in Edinburgh, if not the whole of Scotland, and this apartment is situated right on the iconic thoroughfare. It's a sleek, modern home, in contrast with the ancient, cobbled streets outside – making it the ideal spot to kick your feet up and relax when you're not busy exploring the capital. You'll love waking up in one of the stylish bedrooms and making some porridge in the kitchenette, which can be cleverly hidden away behind doors when you're not using it. Stroll up the Royal Mile for just over ten minutes to arrive at breathtaking Edinburgh Castle, where you can learn about the tumultuous history of Scotland's kings and queens. Or, take a hike up nearby Arthur's Seat, an extinct volcano that offers incredible vistas over the city to the hills beyond. After all that excitement, you'll be glad to come home and admire the view of Calton Hill from the comfy sofa as you sip on some Scottish whisky – sláinte!
