Despite its historic exterior, the decor is modern and understated. And your first stop upon entering has to be the panoramic views of rooftops and the glistening Firth of Forth from the lounge windows. Trust us, this stony scene looks even more dramatic on a famous Scottish rainy day. If you’re staying in, enjoy your own drizzle in the rainfall shower before cosying up on the plush sofa with a tea. For a local wander, visit the Dean Village, just twelve minutes away on foot. This picturesque neighbourhood, founded in the 12th century, is one of the most tranquil and beautiful spots in town.
