This home is in the jolly seaside town of Carnac Plage, putting shops, restaurants and cafés all on your doorstep. It’s also just a two-minute dander to the town’s popular sweep of sandy beach, with calm shallows perfect for bathing and paddling. A traditional-style French townhouse with white-wash wooden shutters hides a modern interior. The breezy, open living area has a handful of seating areas for the group to spread out on and a kitchen big enough for the bustle of a busy family breakfast time. It’s all centred around a fireplace at the heart of the home. The garden is a real treat, set with alfresco dining for the group and bursting with alliums and hydrangea and shaded by ancient trees.
