This modern apartment sits in the heart of Reading, with restaurants and shops on the doorstep and easy access to London. It’s a five-minute walk along the river to the centre of town, and fifteen minutes sees you at Reading station – a twenty-five-minute ride from the centre of London. The big, arched window in the living room looks out to a leafy-green forecourt, offering a bit of peace in the centre of the action. The apartment itself is all light-wood floors and leafy houseplants, creating a soothing, boho-chic feel. Curl up on the squashy sofa at the end of a long day – there’s more than enough room for two to spread out. The kitchen has everything you need to cook a full meal, but you might not need it as there are plenty of bars and restaurants in the surrounding streets.
