We love this home's location in Fitzrovia – it's within a ten-minute walk of Oxford Street and Regent Street, where you'll find a myriad of stores, including Selfridges and Liberty London. Amateur sleuths, on the other hand, can head to the Sherlock Holmes Museum, just over twenty minutes on foot. It's the same walking distance to the West End, with all its theatres, if you fancy a spot of culture. Or, just have a stroll around this district, which attracts many creative businesses, and sample its lovely galleries, vibrant bistros and cafes. After a busy day, relax on this light-filled apartment's balcony with a cup of coffee and the chocolates provided by your host. We think it's the perfect place for breakfast or lunch too – whip something up in the modern kitchen. This place is an ideal pied-à-terre for exploring everything London has to offer.

About Fitzrovia
Wedged between Bloomsbury, Soho, Covent Garden and Marylebone, Fitzrovia is a haven for foodies, art lovers and shoppers alike. You'll be rubbing shoulders with stylish local architects, gallerists and other artsy animals every evening from 6pm onwards, either sipping a cocktail in a glamorous bar or having a pint in one of the many historic and characterful local pubs. The weekends are a bit quieter when the local workers disperse, which is a good time to stroll up to Regent's Park, marvel the glories of the British Museum or head to the shops on Oxford Street.

Indulge in fine dining with a French touch at Mere
