Tucked away in the bend of a country lane, this sweet cottage is a cosy base from which to explore the picturesque Suffolk landscape. Inside, original features – think timber beams and vaulted ceilings – blend seamlessly with the home’s contemporary styling. A wood-burning fire keeps things toasty when it's chilly, while the landscaped garden is the ideal spot for when the sun comes out. There’s a sitting room, a good choice for you and your holiday read, a big dining table for slap-up suppers and a cute bistro set out the front for your morning cup of tea. The tiny village of Easton and its 16th-century pub is a half-hour walk away, while the purple-heathered heaths and coastal town of Aldeburgh are no more than a twenty-five-minute drive away.
