Located in Sandplace, just a twenty-minute drive from Looe, this characterful cottage is the ideal base for those looking for a peaceful getaway within easy reach of the Cornish coast. Surrounded by the unspoilt wooded valley of the East Looe River, there’s a quiet serenity to this home that’s felt the moment you walk up its flower-filled path. Step inside to be immersed in a world of Cornish country charm where a beamed living room with a decorative brick hearth and window seats provide a warm welcome. We love the farmhouse kitchen with its Smeg appliances and vintage stove, while the pink, white and blue-toned bedrooms are as sweet as they are comfortable. Outside, a courtyard garden is primed for morning coffees and evening drinks in the fresh air, while just across the road the local Sandplace railway station waits to whisk you to Looe on its scenic hourly service. With Fowey, Polperro and Polruan’s beaches and coves all reachable in twenty-five minutes by car and plenty of walking and cycling trails right outside your door, you’ve got everything you need for a blissfully relaxing stay.
