This charming cottage has not one but two beautiful, secluded gardens bordered by a Grade II listed wall covered in fragrant wisteria. It's a wonderful, tranquil place to dine alfresco (there are multiple lovely spots to choose from). Inside has been lovingly renovated by your hosts to provide a modern and bright home. Take in the gorgeous views of the garden and countryside from the sash windows in the bedrooms when you wake up in the morning. We especially love the country kitchen with its wood-burning stove – it's the perfect place to gather with family or friends for a convivial meal made with local produce. Located in the heart of one of Cornwall's most beautiful, unspoiled countryside villages, St Mawgan village is an idyllic spot surrounded by the wooded Vale of Lanherne. Visit its cute tearooms and award-winning pub, or browse its shops 400 yards away. Or, spend the day on the family-friendly surfing beaches of Watergate Bay and Mawgan Porth, a five-minute ride from this home. If you like your plants and gardening, head to the Eden Project, just under a half an hour drive – it also hosts concerts in the summer and ice skating in the winter. Once you've stayed here, just like many other guests, we're sure you'll be booking a return visit.
