Channelling the crisp, clean lines and contemporary cosiness of Danish 'hygge', this flat in Battersea is something special. Although the design is fairly modern, it radiates a warm and homely feeling that's hard to resist. We adore how the painted floorboards add subtle pops of colour to the living area – it's a unique feature that's the perfect amount of whimsy. The sumptuous sofa is as inviting as it looks, and with a Sonos sound system, cuddling up for a film night is a given. Whether you want to work from home at the desk, whip up a delicious meal in the fully-equipped kitchen or while away the summer evenings out in the private garden, this home has more than enough room to make yourself comfortable. Add in the range of mod-cons – such as a sleek rainfall shower and a PS4 – as well as the excellent Battersea location and what's not to like? Spend your days strolling around Battersea Park (ten minutes away on foot), sipping coffee at the cafes and eateries on Battersea Park Road (three minutes away) or shopping along the iconic King's Road in Chelsea (half an hour walk). To get into London's buzzing centre,... hop on the bus (there's a stop right around the corner) and you'll be in Victoria in twenty minutes or wander over to Clapham Junction Station and take a train into Waterloo.

Nestled between the King’s Road and the River Thames, the area was once used as a coal wharf for London’s rail network. Fast-forward to the 1980s, and a large-scale regeneration project turned this waterfront area into one of London’s...
