Do you have a question about this home or the local area?
Part of a listed 300-year-old farm building, this home will be a dream for those who adore the great outdoors. For a start, there's a beach only fifty metres from the front door with no public road leading to the shoreline. As well as lending some amazing opportunities for watersports and swimming, guests are also treated to a stunning panorama of lochs and islands from the back garden. Back inside, there are plenty of ways to warm up after an afternoon out in whatever weather Scotland chooses to throw at you. The log burning fireplace in the living room is the very picture of cosiness, while there's also a pair of freestanding bathtubs in which to luxuriate. Perhaps what's best about the property is the number of activities to try nearby. As well as the coastline, you can go cycling on The Caledonia Way route, hiking up Ben Nevis, or skiing at Fort William — the latter two only an hour away in the car. The hosts are kind enough to lend OS Maps of the local area, so you'll never be short of inspiration.

About Argyll and Bute
Some of Scotland’s wildest outposts can be found in the beguiling land of Argyll and Bute. It’s where the land juts out into the Atlantic and islands are fringed with white-sand beaches that could be from the pages of a Caribbean holiday brochure. On the mainland, the historic town of Inverary is home to an ancient castle and jail and the wild countryside sees stone-grey crumbling castles perched on lochsides,...
