Modern and minimalist, this home near the Duomo packs a punch in terms of its style as well as location. You're a ten-minute stroll from the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore with many of Florence's most sought after piazzas just outside your door. Inside, it's a coffee-toned contemporary interior, with all-white walls over a two-level platform, leather cream seating and dramatic spotlighting. We think there's somewhat of a Scandi feel to the space, with Eames-styled dining chairs, pale wood floors and plenty of room to relax. The sleek kitchen is perfectly equipped for families cooking at home, although we reckon you'll spend most of your time eating out – from gelato shops to fine-dine restaurants, Florence is a hotspot for foodies. Having said that, your beautiful sun terrace, complete with an outdoor table and oven, may tempt you into a spot of alfresco dining. We certainly know where we'd spend our time here. With views of the Brunelleschi's Dome and Giotto's bell tower from both the roof terrace and the second bedroom, you'll feel immersed in the lively locale in no time.
