Near the banks of the River Ness in the heart of beautiful Inverness, this stylish period home is a real stand out. It offers a comfortable stay for up to eight guests with ample space to wind down with a good book or come together for hearty meals. Located in the city centre, you're a short stroll from an array of restaurants, bars and shops. For a cultural day trip out, the beautiful Inverness Botanic Gardens is less than fifteen minutes in the car. And after a day spent mooching around boutiques and long peaceful river walks, return to a cosy family home and put your feet up. Knock up a tasty dinner in the charming kitchen-diner with stylish blue cabinets, exposed brickwork, a metro-tiled backdrop and an impressive curation of houseplants. The four bedrooms and a grand living room with plenty of refined yet comfy seating make it a lovely spot to relax in big groups or enjoy a moment's rest. We especially love the Farrow & Ball green smoke walls and eclectic artwork dotted around, as well as the intricate fireplace that keeps things extra snug.

About Inverness

With Loch Ness right next door, empty Glens dotting the countryside and the Speyside whisky region just down the road, folk tend to use Inverness as a base for exploring the untamed Scottish Highlands. But lingering a while in this small city has its rewards. Strolling between the willow trees on the banks of the River Ness and catching a glimpse of Inverness Castle is just one of those rewards....
