To enjoy beachside living, it doesn’t get much easier than being a seven-minute walk from Oeiras’ Praia do Saisa. In this glossy apartment block, the home offers an urban vibe in a perfect beach location. With a stylish L-shaped sofa, funky patterned rug, and pale wooden floors, the vibe is supremely modern. Fling open the huge glass doors and step out to the glass balcony. This ‘infinity’ balcony is a wonderful breakfast spot for sunny mornings. After your pastéis de nata and an iced coffee, why not head down to the residents’ swimming pool? Once you’ve completed a few laps, feel free to spend the rest of the day on the sun loungers with a cocktail in hand. If you want to explore further afield, you can head out on a trip from Santo Amaro station, three minutes away. However, we recommend checking out local delights first. Five minutes from home, keep up with culture at the Teatro Independente de Oeiras. Or get to grips with Portuguese history by taking a fifteen-minute stroll to the palace of the Marquês de Pombal. The beach may be the most obvious attraction, but it’s by far from the only one.
