A minimalist and modern apartment in one of Lisbon's most historic neighbourhoods, this flat blends old and new for a comfortable stay in a traditional location. It's a bright and functional home with all the mod-cons needed for a short stay in the city – we especially love the abundance of windows allowing natural light and lovely views of Estrela into the apartment. The furniture is simple yet comfy, with a sunny dining area and a contemporary kitchen for knocking up your own piri piri chicken. Take a relaxing soak in the swanky bathtub or work from home at the dedicated desk space, before heading out into the city later on in the day. With the sun winding down, you're only a few steps from the Tagus River for peaceful afternoon strolls along the water and less than twelve minutes (on foot) from the beautiful green expanse of the Estrela Garden for a leafy picnic in the park. The neighbourhood is calm and friendly with a great shopping area, so it's a lovely spot for couples after a romantic getaway. There's easy access to public transport, including the famous twenty-eight tram, that will take you into the city centre and... the trendy Bairro Alto district in less than thirty minutes. Head to Almada in the opposite direction, and cross over the iconic 25 de Abril Bridge while taking in picturesque views of thriving Lisbon in the distance – cameras at the ready.

About Lapa
The hilly neighbourhood of Lapa favours those with high ambitions. The promise of the most amazing views over the Tejo river drives many visitors into its heights, and few are ever disappointed. The area is mostly upscale (some extravagant architecture is expected), but Lapa has maintained its quiet residential feel in the centre of the city since its aristocratic days. It's the perfect spot for a late afternoon stroll with lots of variety in terms of dining and fado houses with some of the best-renowned spots spread over this tranquil area.
