Just a short stroll from Trindade and Lapa metro stations, this contemporary studio apartment is in a top-notch location. Walking distance from all the sights, Praça da Repúblicas – one of the most iconic squares in Porto's history – is right around the corner, and surrounding it, you'll find cafes, restaurants, museums and shops. Heading deeper into the city, bustling downtown Clérigos is twenty minutes away on foot, while the Palácio da Bolsa and Museu da Cidade on the river are just a little further. Back at home, you'll have everything you need for a relaxed stay, including air conditioning and a fully-equipped kitchen for home-cooked meals. Our favourite spot has to be the private balcony, which overlooks the neighbourhood. Pull up a chair, pour yourself a glass of wine and watch the sunset over the orange-tiled rooftops. Inside, it's bright and surprisingly roomy for a studio apartment – there's even a desk if you need to hop on a Zoom call. The pops of yellow and the geometric wallpaper behind the bed add a splash personality, but otherwise, it's a sleek and modern pad to call home.

Home truths

  • This is a studio apartment, so there's no separation between the living area and the bedroom

  • There is a sofa bed that can sleep one guest, but we do not recommend this home for more than two people – we think it would be a squeeze with three adults

  • A travel cot and high chair can be provided on request – there's a €25/week fee

  • There is paid parking on the street outside the apartment – however, we don't think a car is needed as everything is within walking distance

  • Please respect the quiet hours between 10pm and 8am
