Set in the rolling countryside and winery-adjacent this home is the perfect English break. Yes, you read that right, winery-adjacent in England. Combine walks in the country with wine tasting and vineyard tours, as though you were in the South of France. Stanlake Park winery is on your doorstep, and it’s a fifteen-minute stroll into Twyford with plenty of cafés, shops, restaurants and a train station. The home itself is a beautiful red-brick building with a sprawling private garden. The open living area is crowned with an exposed brick feature fireplace and lit by huge skylights. Glass doors fold back to melt the barrier between indoors and outdoors, letting in a view of fields for miles from the plush sofa. Cook something hearty on the gas range cooker in the country-chic kitchen and serve at the solid wood dining table. Come bedtime, bagging the master bedroom means a soak in the claw-footed tub before drifting off to the land of nod.
