Vetted by our experts
When a home is surrounded by beautiful scenery, the interior really has to up its game in order to stand a chance of being noticed and thankfully that's the case with this address. Large floor-to-ceiling windows let in ample amounts of natural daylight, which dances pleasingly off the wooden floors. About The Lake District
Poets and novelists have often escaped to the Lake District for a spot of inspiration. Famously, Wordsworth pondered about daffodils and clouds during his time here. The undulating hills are tracked with drystone walls while sheep graze, and farmsteads enjoy untouched beauty for miles around. England’s biggest lake, Windermere, cuts through a valley, sleek as glass and hosts a litany of cosy-pub-filled towns and water sports venues along its shores....
