Built back in the mid-nineteenth century, this Grade-II listed house in Stamford is a real looker from the outside, thanks to its slate roof, coursed stone walls and a white clock face at the very top of the property. The interior is just as handsome, although perhaps a little more modern than might be anticipated. Black leather furnishings and stark white walls are a chic combination in the dual-aspect living area, as is the wood-panelled kitchen and the glass dining room table. Around the back of the house, there's a small patio area with seating so you can make the most of bursts of bright weather.
