South Kensington’s famous quarter of museums and galleries is the place to be for culture fans. As well as this, it’s full of upscale restaurants, trendy cafés, and classy bars. Five minutes from the V&A, and only three from the Natural History Museum, this apartment is perfectly placed to discover the city’s most significant cultural sights. You’ll be staying in a majestic, six-storey Victorian building, which feels like being in a museum already. Indoors, the decor is modern and sophisticated, yet playful. We love the bright green feature wall in the living space, chiming well with fresh plants and velvet armchairs. The typical sash windows illuminate the dining area, but an even brighter spot can be found on the top floor. From your peaceful bedroom, step out to your private roof terrace – the best spot to enjoy an Earl Grey in the morning as you plan the day. At the end of the street, less than a minute on foot, you’ll find the French Institute's Ciné Lumière. This art-deco inspired French cinema is a charming venue to check out before you head back for a glass of pinot noir on the roof.
