There’s no better way to embrace the history of Rome than to stay in a former 17th-century palace. This apartment’s building embraces the spirit of the “grandezza romana” with its ornate doorway just next to a local pizzeria and marble statues in the ancient stairwell. Stepping into the apartment itself you’re met with grand, high ceilings and a traditional parquet floor. Old double doors let the space flow from the living room, to the dining room and a bijou little kitchen. You’re in a prime location here too. Apart from the buzzing pizzeria literally on your doorstep, there is myriad local trattoria serving up plates of carbonara and tiramisu in the historic streets around you. It’s a seven-minute stroll to Piazza di Spanga (where the Spanish Steps are) and the Trevi Fountain is one minute's walk away, showing just how central this apartment is.
