Beverly Crest is one of the city’s most upscale neighbourhoods, set in the Santa Monica Mountains. A five-minute drive from iconic estates like Greystone Mansion, and just a seven-minute drive downhill into central Beverly Hills, this magnificently modern villa is guaranteed to make your jaw drop. It’s got that coveted 90210 postcode, and a character to match. Set over six levels of awe-inspiring architecture, this striking white palace stands out in the hills. Starting up top, find two rooftop gardens with spectacular views of LA. Wake up early for a dip in the infinity pool while someone shakes espresso martinis at the wet bar. Lounge at one of the seating areas on the decking as the sun heats up, then head inside for breakfast (you’ll be back up here later for a barbecue at sunset). The interiors are superbly modern – glossy white floors, thick marble worktops, and glass features bring a VIP sheen to the living space. Every bedroom is elegantly designed, with the master suite sprawling across an entire floor of the home. We think champagne in the tub as you look out to canyon scenes will be a pleasant way to end the night.

You'll need to be able to climb stairs to get around this home, as it's set over multiple floors – there's also a spiral staircase which you need to take extra care on
As there are so many staircases, we wouldn't recommend this home for children or toddlers due to safety
The master suite spans one entire floor of the home, while the other rooms are regular ensuites – you might have to draw straws to decide who gets it
