Despite being located almost equidistantly between Los Angeles and San Diego, this home in Temecula Wine Country feels far removed from the hustle and bustle of urban life. Out on the terraces, there are views of rolling hillsides and towering trees, which makes for a pleasant space to kick back and relax. And boy, can you do that here. The swimming pool is the first thing to grab your attention as you step outside, but further inspection will reveal a hot tub and plenty of loungers. A little further around the side of the home, another terrace has an impressive outside kitchen set-up, a huge alfresco table and a ping-pong table. As if that wasn't enough, the host has also built a covered area where you can practise your putting. As you can imagine, it's very easy to entertain yourself without leaving the address, but there's plenty more to do in the local area as well. There are seven wineries that can be reached in an hour's walk, while Palomar Mountain State Park can be reached in an hour's drive if you're in the mood for a long hike.
