Craving a quintessential cabin in the woods experience but with plenty of mod-cons? This A-frame wonder near Lake Tahoe is just the ticket. Cosy and contemporary, inside you'll find vaulted ceilings, skylights flooding the room with natural light and a vast open floor plan ideal for socialising. With two lounges, a roomy kitchen and four comfortable bedrooms, there's plenty of space to spread out and relax. Out on the deck, breathe in the smell of pine trees and listen to the sounds of nature as you savour a morning cup of coffee. Pad back inside for a delicious breakfast at the island before playing a game of table football. A second lounge is a great place for the kids to chill out while parents share a bottle of wine around the dining table. When you're ready for adventure, hop on the shuttle to head towards the lake. Not only do you have access to a shared tennis court and communal pool, but there's also a private section of the beach reserved for homes in this community. Pick up the pace and hike the many scenic trails nearby or during the winter, don your skis and hit the slopes at Homewood... Mountain Resort (a five-minute drive away) or Squaw Valley (twenty-five minutes by car).
