Do you have a question about this home or the local area?
As you approach this Suffolk home, you'll probably wonder where the small handprints on the outside wall came from. Years back, this building was once an Edwardian grammar school and these marks came from the kids who attended. Inside, there's no indication of its educational past — instead, this recently renovated home is a triumph of modern design, with the stark white walls livened up by houseplants, artwork and vintage curios dotted about. The dining room benefits from two skylights, which makes the space invitingly bright. In contrast, there's a cosy area on the mezzanine level, which is stocked with a record player and some fetching lime green chairs on which to nod your head to the beats. Back downstairs, there's a private south-facing back garden with a rattan outdoor table and chairs, which will really come into their own during unseasonably warm spells. If this is the case, the delights of coastal Suffolk await. Thorpeness Beach is an eight-minute drive away, for instance, while RSPB Minsmere nature reserve only takes thirteen.
