Like something out of a fairytale, this thatched cottage is as enchanting inside as it is on the outside. Charm abounds in the petite living area, which is bursting with Cotswold character – honey-hued exposed stone, mullioned windows and original wooden beams are just a few of the features we adore. Spend warm evenings in the pretty terraced garden, soaking up the magic of the Cotswolds and sipping wine as the sun goes down. In the winter, take your relaxing inside and snuggle up by the wood-burning fire with a book from the host's collection. Upstairs, two charming bedrooms overlook the village and the parklands of the Great Tew Estate – a treat to wake up to on a lovely summer morning – and on your doorstep are plenty of picturesque local walks. Ask your hosts about arranging treats like in-house massages and cooking lessons to make your holiday extra special. Chipping Norton is just a short car ride away, but the real gems are the village pub and cafe just moments from your door, the perfect way to end a long day exploring the Cotswolds.
