Close to all the action, we love this character building with its red brick exterior, twin turrets and ornate arched windows. And this top floor apartment benefits from a pretty little balcony, on which to sip your coffee each morning (or your juleps in the evenings). Inside, there's a mix of modern white walls and stripped-back brick, with warm wood floors and contemporary art adding pops of colour. The high ceilings and beautiful, tall windows make the space bright, and there's a mid-century modern look to the furniture. If you're cooking at home, there's a well-stocked kitchen, and you can choose between eating at the breakfast bar or the dining table. Both bedrooms are stylish and comfortable, with sash windows and marble bathrooms. Although it's not primarily a residential area, it's just an eight-minute drive to the French Quarter and all the cafes, bars and excellent restaurants you could need.
