Glossy hardwood floors, high ceilings and sleek finishes are just a few things we love about this apartment. Styled with a laid-back yet sophisticated colour palette of bold yellows, deep blues and vibrant greens, this New Orleans pad has everything you'll need for a getaway, including streaming on the TV and a kitchen stocked with cookware. Between the open-plan living area and its cosy sofa and the sumptuous bedroom, there's plenty of room for two to spread out and make themselves comfortable – and that's not including the balcony, which looks out towards swaying palm trees. Location-wise, you're a bit further from the bright lights and all-night jazz music downtown, but this mainly residential neighbourhood has a lot going for it. Here you'll find tree-lined streets and pretty creole cottages, independent coffee shops and craft breweries, eclectic boutiques and casual bars frequented by locals. You're right on Magazine Street next to a tasty cafe, but when the French Quarter comes calling, hop on the #12 tram and you'll be living it up NOLA style in less than half an hour.

With a unique history of at one time being a French Colony; African-American, French, Creole, and Cajun cultures converge to create one of the most vibrant states in the nation. Most notably, Louisiana is home to New Orleans, aka “The Big Easy”, where it is indeed...
