So hop aboard a streetcar to explore the city, enjoy some outlet shopping at the waterside warehouses of the Riverwalk before treating yourself to fantastic feasts at neighbourhood favourites. As day turns to night and the true New Orleans reveals itself, take a stroll down Bourbon St and search out some live jazz. If that's not your thing, there are rock cover bands aplenty, plus lots of karaoke for any budding singers out there.
