The Vitascope was the world's first-ever movie theatre, and now the historic building has been reinvented as a collection of luxury apartments. More than a century after it first opened its doors, there's still plenty of fun to be had here, and we think you'll settle in perfectly. The huge windows frame the street scenes outside, and bring plenty of natural light into the living area, creating a serene atmosphere where you can relax in style. The powder blue sofa is both chic and comfortable, while the kitchen is well-equipped with all the tools you need to create a delicious feast to share. If you don't fancy cooking then there are plenty of Creole and Cajun restaurants to try out in the surrounding area before you head to one of the French Quarter's famous jazz clubs for an evening to remember. Plus, with Bourbon Street just around the corner, and the Superdome just twenty minutes away on foot, you're guaranteed to have a great time in the city.

You’ll find indigenous cuisine here that hybridizes Caribbean, African and European influences – so embrace your inner hedonist and dive head first into Gumbo, beignets and po’ boys. It’s a city where jazz is as prevalent...
