We especially liked the quirky House of Hackney wallpaper, featuring a colourful cast of animals, which you can admire before settling down for a great sleep in the vintage-style bed. Outside, you're in the perfect position to explore Shoreditch's restaurants, fashion boutiques and buzzing bars – this area is known for its independent spirit, and for good reason. And, if you want to head into central London to see the city's most iconic sights, simply hop on a local bus to arrive there in around half an hour.
