This stylish home has a fantastic location – it's only an eight-minute drive to Austin-Bergstrom International Airport. There are plenty of art galleries to explore – in fact, this district is known for its array of colourful street art too. Add to that – vintage boutiques, Mexican restaurants and cool cocktail lounges and you have the perfect mix. Music lovers can head to the Texas Music Museum, a ten-minute stroll or go to a concert at the Frank Erwin Center – University of Texas (a five-minute ride) – this is the 'Live Music Capital of the World' after all. Downtown Austin is the same distance in a car or a thirty-minute walk – here, you can explore many late-19th-century architectural landmarks, such as the Texas State Capitol. Or have a hike around the lake at Shoal Beach, twenty minutes on foot. Back at this modern apartment, we were surprised at how tranquil this place is, considering its proximity to everything. Lounge in the Texan sun, then cool off in the pool, or fire up the communal barbecue and grill some local produce for lunch. Inside this home, open the door to the Juliet balcony and relax on the comfy blue sofa or get some rest in the bedrooms with their fabulous views over Austin.
