This home isn't the typical Plum affair and lacks a few amenities that some may see as essentials. No microwave, dishwasher or laundry facilities to be precise. If you can see past this, then this eclectic urban cottage could be a great fit for you. It's incredibly well-sized for two people and the kitchen, up-cycled from old butcher worktops, and a large garden, make it a unique spot. While the cottage has old bones, it's been finished to a high standard, with modern touches such as the underfloor heating, which will come in handy given the reputation of Britain's weather.

This is a cottage in the back garden of a main house – you may encounter the homeowner but aren't obliged to interact with them
The kitchen is on the smaller side and does not have some basic appliances, namely a dishwasher, washing machine, and microwave
The TV is quite small for the space at twenty-two inches
You will be provided with high-quality bed linens, a bath mat, bath towels and tea towels for the kitchen. Your host also provides shampoo, shower gel, and toilet paper at the beginning of your stay, but not throughout.
