This mighty Edwardian home is a joy both inside and out. Bright colours and pieces of contemporary nautical artwork pop off against white walls and add a touch of vibrancy, while the futuristic kitchen keeps it as minimalist as can be. The three-tiered garden has plenty of pleasant spots for spending warm days, from the alfresco seating on the patio and the hot tub on the sunken terrace to the large lawn that's ideal for little ones and not-so-little ones to run about and play. The home's location in The Undercliff part of the island — so named because it sits between a cliff and the sea — means that it benefits from a microclimate and allows for the growth of vegetation normally found in Mediterranean countries. There are lots of places to enjoy this geographical curiosity, whether striding out on coastal paths or splashing about in the sea at Woody Bay, only twelve minutes' walk away.
