Right on the seafront at Sandown, this modern apartment is sheer comfort on the Isle of Wight. On the ground floor, glass doors open up from the living area to a private patio and garden, where a dining table for the whole group is perfect for a summer barbecue by the sea. Views take in the shimmering blue of the Solent and there’s a manicured slice of lawn for kids to run around. Inside, toes are kept toasty warm with underfloor heating and all mod-cons in the kitchen let you know this place was built recently. From the building’s communal garden, you can follow the private path to the shore and a five-minute walk sees you at Sandown Beach, one of the top-rated beaches in the UK. Exploring further afield, a twenty-minute coastal stroll has you at Shanklin Bay for an ice cream and a drink, or hop on the train at Lake station, a six-minute walk, to explore the rest of the Isle of Wight.
