Set on a quiet street in lively Islington, this stylish apartment is in an excellent location. It's just a seven-minute walk from Angel tube station and five minutes from the vibrant collection of pubs, restaurants, bars and boutiques on Upper Street – as far as neighbourhoods go, you can't do much better. Whether you're browsing the vintage shops along the picturesque Camden Passage (a seven-minute walk away) or stretching your legs with morning strolls along Regent's Canal, there's so much to do here, we reckon you'll spend most of your time out and about. Yet when you're in the mood to relax, this apartment has you covered. The cottage-style windows flood the living room with natural light, and the cosy sofa and matching armchair are just what you need after a long day. Stretch out with a well-thumbed book and pour yourself a glass of wine, or if you're in the mood to rustle up a meal, try one of the recipes from the array of cookbooks. Although it's on the smaller side, the kitchen is well-stocked with everything you'll need and the large dining table is ideal for tucking into a homecooked feast or working remotely on a laptop.... The flat is a little snug, especially when the sofa bed is in use, but we think it's the perfect base for two.

Two guests will sleep on the sofa bed – that said, we think it’s better suited for a couple, as the flat can be snug with four guests
This is a second floor flat with no lift, so you'll have to climb stairs
The blinds in the living room aren't black-out, so some light gets in – light-sensitive sleepers may not want to sleep on the sofa bed
Although this is a quiet street, Angel as a whole is a lively area, so expect to hear some noise
There's no parking but a car isn't necessary – between the bus routes and the Northern Line at Angel tube station, getting around London is no problem
