A colour palette of various hues of blue, seaside artwork and driftwood-style furnishings — looking around, the more observant might notice that there's a bit of a nautical theme going on in this ground-floor apartment. And with good reason too, as Pakefield Beach is only two minutes' walk from the front door. After a long afternoon of splashing about in the surf, this is a lovely address to which to return. As well as a cosy living room with a bay window and a fireplace, there's a long turquoise kitchen that leads out to a private garden. Out here, you'll find alfresco seating and a barbecue so you can enjoy a meaty supper while the sun goes down. Aside from the beach, there are several nature reserves nearby in the Suffolk Coast and Heaths Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, including one at North Cove only sixteen minutes away in the car.
